Who is JumpLMS for?

JumpLMS is a Learning Management System that can be used by anyone who needs to provide online training and development material and report on their learners’ progress. The pricing structure we use makes JumpLMS affordable to everybody.

What is an LMS?

LMS stands for Learning Management System. An LMS is an application that can be used for the administration, reporting, automation and delivery of training and development programs.

Is there a free-to-use version of JumpLMS?

Yes! As soon as you create a JumpLMS account, you will be automatically added to the Free Plan subscription, this means you can use JumpLMS and all its features without having to enter any credit card details. Plus, as long as you keep using JumpLMS, you can stay on the Free LMS Plan and use it for as long as you want!

Is JumpLMS secure?

Yes! JumpLMS is sent over a secure and encrypted network to ensure that your privacy and the integrity of the data being transferred is maintained. All the training material you upload or create on your JumpLMS portal is stored on secured Amazon servers.

What type of training material can I use?

All sorts! You get to choose which formats work best for you. JumpLMS supports video, audio files, SCORM 1.2 or xAPI courses, Word, Powerpoint, Excel documents, PDFs, text, images etc. The courses you can create on JumpLMS are broken down into elements, and each element can be a different format or all the same, it’s totally up to you.

Can I add tests and surveys?

Yes! You can create as many tests and surveys as you like. JumpLMS provides a large array of question types including multiple choice, dropdown select, drag and drop, text input, list ordering, fill the gap and likert scales. The test and survey reporting on JumpLMS breaks down your learners’ performance, even down to which options were selected.

What is SCORM?

SCORM stands for Shareable Content Object Reference Model. Training material created in any of the popular eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, GoMo etc.) can be exported as SCORM objects (we support either SCORM 1.2 or xAPI), you’ll be able to upload these into JumpLMS and use them in any of your courses. SCORM uses a set of standards that both the eLearning training material and JumpLMS can understand, so the two will be able to communicate with each other and progress can be tracked and maintained on your LMS.

Can I save and print reports?

Yes! You can configure and export any of the reports generated in JumpLMS as a spreadsheet (in CSV format). This can be opened in any spreadsheet program and printed from there.

Can I make my own certificates?

Yes! JumpLMS comes equipped with an awesome certificate creation tool. You can customise every part of the certificate and use it across multiple courses. There is no limit to the number of certificates you can make.

Does JumpLMS have any gamification?

Yes! We’ve added a points award system to help engage and motivate your learners and encourage them to jump up the leader boards!

Can I customise the look of JumpLMS?

Yes! You can upload your organisation’s logo (we recommend using a PNG with a transparent background) and set primary, secondary and tertiary colours to match your branding.

Can I communicate with my learners?

Yes! We’ve built a brilliant messaging and notification system that will let you communicate with your learners. You can send global messages to everyone or send targeted messages to groups, course enrolees or individuals. JumpLMS also lets you setup and send automated notifications to your learners when certain events take place (e.g. assigned a new course or being added to a new group).
